I listen carefully, ask focused questions, and work to understand the heart of the problem as quickly as possible.
My goal is to create a place where you can be completely honest with yourself and with me without feeling judged. I strive always to speak the truth in love, while paying close attention to whether you are ready to hear it.
I don't want you simply to agree with me. I want you to understand yourself better and recognize the movement of the Holy Spirit in your life. I want to help you become increasingly able to respond to His leading with wisdom, courage, and faith.
A Different Kind of Counseling

Real change begins when we become willing to see the truth about ourselves. We recognize a pattern, become dissatisfied with what it is producing in our lives, and choose to turn in a different direction. Scripture calls that repentance.
From there, we receive the forgiveness Christ has already provided, surrender the pattern to God, and begin practicing a different response. We participate intentionally, but lasting transformation is the work of the Holy Spirit. Grace gives us room to keep going when change is slower and messier than we hoped.
